Building a Tradition of Fine Homes Since 1959
Charles R. Simpson, Inc. has been building quality, custom homes in and around the Roanoke Valley since 1959. Since that time, our tradition of fine craftsmanship has been highly visible in our individualized homes. No detail goes overlooked as we give personalized attention to every home we build.
We have the flexibility to build top quality homes in all price ranges. What make Charles R. Simpson, Inc. unique in this market is we are not only custom home builders, but we are also community developers. This move toward community development has allowed Charles R. Simpson, Inc. to offer greater value and a larger selection of potential home sites to the "custom" buyer.
"We think it's a great advantage to potential custom home clients whether or not they want to locate their 'dream home' in one of those communities," says Roger Simpson.
"Why? Because the communities such as our Home Place Salem & Edgefield of Vinton, allow us to keep our construction crews busy year round. Many custom home builders lose top-notch tradesmen because they can't offer them work between custom home jobs. Between our custom jobs, we "spec build" homes in our communities to maintain our top-notch crews and subcontractors."
The result is consistent quality and lower prices to our custom home clients.
The volume created by our community construction also allows us to be more competitive on our custom work.
Many people who come to us end up buying a lot in one of our communities. Here again, we're able to package the build job with the cost of our own lot and save the home buyer additional money.
We also have a large inventory of lots in different areas of the Roanoke Valley at various prices for you to choose from, or we'll be glad to build your new home on your lot.
